    • Senate Plan Makes ObamaCare Worse – Ep. 261
Summary: Let the SS ObamaCare Ship Sink The Republicans in the Senate finally unveiled their version of ObamaCare Repeal & Replace.  It’s very heavy on replace, but there really isn’t any repeal. They are replacing it with something that may even be worse. Regardless, we still should let the ObamaCare ship sink while it’s called […] The post Senate Plan […]
    • Here Comes Quantitative Tightening
By: Peter Schiff, President and CEO Euro Pacific Capital All of a sudden the Fed got a little tougher. Perhaps the success of the hit movie Wonder Woman has inspired Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen to discard her prior timidity to show us how much monetary muscle she can flex when the time comes for action. […] The post Here Comes Quantitative Tightening appeare […]
    • All Tax Cuts Are Temporary – Ep. 260
Summary: Every tax cut is temporary. Ryan’s premise that we can’t get the stimulus we need without a permanent tax cut is complete nonsense.  Congress has no idea what the budget’s going to be next year, let alone 10 years from now. The only budget that really counts, and even then they can’t get it […] The post All Tax Cuts Are Temporary – Ep. 260 appeared […]
    • Government, Not Amazon Putting Cashiers Out of Work – Ep. 259
Summary: Amazon Buys Whole Foods The Dow was up today; mainly on the surprise announcement that Amazon, the king of on-line retailing, is buying Whole Foods.  In a labor market significantly altered by ObamaCare-style government intervention, this news could signal further changes to the labor market.  Retail has experienced a steady decline, and this move [ […]
    • Hawkish Hike May Backfire on Fed – Ep. 258
Summary Quantitative Tightening Ahead: The Federal Reserve came out with a surprisingly hawkish rate hike today, announcing plans to  shrink the balance sheet by $50 billion per month.  This would mean an annualized rate of $600 billion per year in new treasuries to hit the market. This does not take into consideration existing budget deficits or […] The pos […]

The Military Loves Ron Paul, The Proof is in the Pudding

The candidates’ second quarter donation reports are in, and once again Ron Paul is dominating the rest of the field in donations from active military members, just like he did in 2008.  In fact, Ron Paul got more money in donations from the military than ALL other candidates combined, including Obama! Paul raised over $33K from the military, whereas the closest GOP contender, Herman Cain, raised just over $7K.  Obama, the titan fundraiser that he is, only raised about $20K.

These numbers tell a lot about what the military feels should be a proper foreign policy.  They are tired of being forced to police the world and nation build in countries that hate us.  They see first hand how our involvement around the world causes blowback.  They just want to come home safe and alive to their families.  Thus, they are speaking directly with their money by donating to Ron Paul.

If any neo-con tells you that they think Ron Paul is weak on defense or is anti-military, this donation report completely defies their argument.  If they think you’re making this stuff up, please direct them to this page.  You can’t argue with cold hard numbers!

It’s time to change the status quo and return to a humble foreign policy espoused by our founding fathers.  Thomas Jefferson stated that America’s stance should be “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none.”  Ron Paul is the only candidate who’s consistently preached this philosophy and as president he will have the conviction to follow it.
