    • The Fed May Show Trump No Love
By: Peter Schiff, President and CEO Euro Pacific Capital Typically, U.S. Presidents are wary of claiming stock market performance as a referendum on their success. Most have seemed to understand that taking credit also means accepting blame, and no one would want to make the tortured argument that the positive moves reflect well on their presidency […] The p […]

    • What It Means To Be An American – Ep. 265
Summary: One of the key differences between Americans and citizens of other countries is that in most nations of the world, individuals gradually won freedoms and privileges from a monarchy. In the U.S., however, we started with all of our rights.  Then, Americans created government by surrendering some of their power, empowering government.  These rights [… […]

Celebrate Constitution Day by supporting BJ Lawson

Today (September 17th) is Constitution Day, and in honor of this event BJ Lawson’s campaign is throwing a money bomb here.  BJ Lawson is running as the Republican nominee for the House of Representatives is North Carolina’s 4th Congressional district.  He is taking on the 22 year Democratic incumbent David Price, who has voted with Nancy Pelosi more than any other member of the House.  However, the tides have turned this year and despite the district being favored by liberals, a recent poll shows that Lawson is now ahead of Price in the race!  This has garnered national attention by not only Baraq Obama, who is now helping campaign for Price, but also RNC chairmen Michael Steele who has committed to help Lawson in his campaign to “retire Pelosi.”

Dr. William “B.J.” Lawson is a husband, father of three and concerned citizen with a background in engineering, medicine, business and entrepreneurship.  Despite a strong calling to medicine, B.J. recognized opportunity to address a fundamental inefficiency in our healthcare system: to take care of patients, all physicians need timely and portable access to patient information and in 2001 started Durham-based, MercuryMD.  Like many Americans, throughout his experience creating a company, and taking a risk, BJ began to ask specific questions regarding our economic system and the role of the government in the economy.   The more his company created and prospered, the more government seemed to get in the way and the more concerned he became for our nation and most importantly our children.

B.J. believes that conservative principles are being embraced nationwide by Americans who are waking up to runaway government spending, oppressive taxation, and overly restrictive regulation.  He firmly believes the greatest thing about being an American is that we have a principled foundation that respects the individual based upon our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Please support his campaign and let’s retire Price and Pelosi this year!
