    • Many Americans don’t pay income tax. Is this a bad thing?
Last week, the Heritage Foundation published commentary on the number of Americans who pay income tax, and decried the fact that 49.5 percent of Americans are “not represented on a taxable return.” The Daily Mail then picked up the statistics and announced that “HALF of Americans don’t pay income tax despite crippling government debt. • The Totalitarians, an online course with Hunt Tooley, Starting Sunday
This course will use Mises’ Omnipotent Government as its main text.  Professor Tooley is a wonderfully solicitous and engaging instructor, and a fantastic historian.  David Gordon has this to say about the instructor and the course:  ”Hunt Tooley is one of the best living historians of modern Europe, and his work displays a penetrating intelligen […]

    • Hollyweird Hypocrisy: Why Do Americans Listen to Left-Wing Celebutards?
As you may have heard, last week actor Sean Penn visited his buddy Hugo Chavez in Venezuela once again. • What is Low Republican Turnout Saying?
Conventional wisdom hinted at high levels of Republican turnout in this year’s nominating contests. Building on relatively light 2008 turnout seemed a lock, and this appeared all the more likely considering the lack of a Democratic primary fight this time around. Taking into account the electorate’s present angst and 2010’s Tea Party primary successes, most […]

Mainstream Media Blackout of Ron Paul Exposed!

After statistically tying Michelle Bachman in the Ames Straw Poll last weekend (being 152 votes away from first, which was about 0.9% of the overall votes), Ron Paul has been completely shut out in the mainstream media when discussing the “top tier candidates” in the GOP.  Instead, all the news was about Michelle Bachman “stunning” victory in Iowa and Rick Perry entering the race as an instant front runner (after having done virtually no campaigning thus far).  However, after the bias became so obvious and apparent, certain media hosts are starting to call it out.  Here are a number of clips and articles from the past few days that detail the disgraceful nature of the mainstream media regarding Ron Paul (the Jon Stewart clip is my favorite):
